Sadu, the eighth element in Saudi culture, is traditionally woven by Bedouin women who decorate their homes with vibrant Sadu pieces to beautify the surroundings. This embroidered textile is considered one of the most significant aspects of the human heritage in the Kingdom, with its diverse designs, patterns, and colors.

Sadu is a vital tradition in the Arabian Peninsula, and its colorful patterns, extending in a consistent rhythm, represent an ancient art form. "Saudi Arabia and Kuwait share our treasure with the world, protecting and celebrating it through UNESCO," said Her Royal Highness Princess Haifa Al-Mogrin, Saudi Arabia's Permanent Delegate to UNESCO.
